After graduating from medical school, Dr. Katrib went on to complete both an internship year in General Surgery and four years in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville. During his training, he gained extensive experience in facial trauma surgery as well as head and neck cancer ablative and reconstructive surgery (continued below).
At the completion of his Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the University of Louisville, Dr. Katrib was accepted into a highly competitive Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship with the world renowned and 2015-2016 President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Edwin Williams, in Latham NY. During this training, he gained extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck.
Dr. Katrib is one of very few surgeons in the United States who specializes in Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty. He performs between 200-300 of these operations a year, not including his many nasal and facial reconstructive surgeries.
