TO NOTE:

____________________________________

All surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis at a major hospital. If you are traveling alone, nursing transportation and post op care can be arranged through the clinic with more than 30 days notice for an extra fee.

____________________________________

Patients who are driving may leave at any time. The first visit is 1 week post operatively, so if driving back to your home state you would need to return a week later for cast removal.

____________________________________

For patients who require flying, we recommend staying in Louisville at least until the cast/splints are removed 6-8 days later. You cannot fly with splints inside the nose as this could cause ear pressure issues.

____________________________________

Ideally, we see out of town patients at 2-3 months post op, followed by 8-12 months. If local, we prefer 1 week, 1.5 months, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
